Stop searching. Start training.
Explore endurance training camps for every athlete.
ApexCamps began with a simple realization.
One night, after signing up for a triathlon, I found myself asking: How do I actually prepare for this?
I didn’t want another static training plan or generic workout app. I wanted to train alongside certified coaches, learn from athletes who had already walked the path, and surround myself with people who were driven to push their limits.
I was searching for the apex of performance—the point in an athlete’s journey where preparation, physical capability, and mindset come together to unlock peak performance.
But when I started looking for dedicated endurance training camps, I hit an unexpected wall. Finding the right experience meant digging through endless social media threads, fragmented websites, and buried forum posts. World-class coaches, exceptional training destinations, and transformative experiences existed—but discovering them felt like an endurance event of its own.
That friction inspired ApexCamps.
Athletes today have incredible tools to track every mile, watt, heartbeat, and training load. Yet when it comes to discovering the right real-world training experience, the landscape remains fragmented.
Whether you’re preparing for your first triathlon, building high-altitude training volume, chasing a personal best, or simply looking to become a better athlete, discovering the right coaching environment shouldn’t feel like a full-time job.
Stop searching. Start training.
ApexCamps brings the world of endurance training camps, specialized clinics, and performance destinations into one place.
Our goal is simple: make it easier for athletes to discover inspiring training experiences, learn about the coaches and environments behind them, and find opportunities that align with their goals and ambitions.

This policy explains what ApexCamps does and does not collect, the choices you control, and how to exercise your rights. It is written to satisfy the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the EU ePrivacy Directive on cookies, United States state privacy laws (including the CCPA/CPRA in California and the comparable Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon and Montana statutes), and Asia-Pacific legislation including the Australia Privacy Act and Singapore PDPA.
ApexCamps Global Operations is the controller for the processing described here. For any privacy request, or to reach our compliance contact, email debrinkverbinding@gmail.com. If you are in the EEA or UK and are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
ApexCamps is deliberately light on data collection.
We do not require an account and we do not ask for your name, address or payment details. Your searches, filter selections and keywords are handled entirely in your browser and are not transmitted to us or stored.
Camp submission form. The “Submit Your Camp” form is currently a front-end preview: the details you type are not transmitted to a server and are discarded when the page is closed. If this form is connected to a backend in future, this policy will be updated before that happens and the change will be reflected in the effective date above.
Advertising data. If, and only if, you allow the advertising category described in section 3, Google may collect your IP address, device and browser characteristics, and identifiers stored on your device, and may combine this with data from other sites in order to select, measure and personalise ads.
Server logs. Our hosting provider processes standard technical request data such as IP address and user agent for security, abuse prevention and delivery of the site. This is necessary to operate the service and is retained only for as long as needed for those purposes.
Reviews and listing submissions. If you submit a review or a camp listing, the form is processed by Netlify (our hosting provider, acting as our processor) and the submission is stored in our Netlify account. For reviews we publish the name, rating, attendance period, stated level and review text you provide; we never publish your email address, which we keep only to verify the review or come back to you with a question, and which we delete within 24 months. Reviews are moderated before publication and we may decline to publish one. Ask us at the contact address below to correct or remove a review you submitted. The legal basis is consent for publication — Art. 6(1)(a) — which you give by submitting the form, and legitimate interests — Art. 6(1)(f) — for checking submissions and preventing abuse.
We use two categories, and only the first is active by default.
a) Strictly necessary. A single entry in your browser’s local storage records your privacy choice so you are not asked on every visit, together with security and load-balancing data set by our host. These are exempt from consent under ePrivacy Art. 5(3) because the service cannot be provided without them, and they are not used for advertising or profiling. The stored consent record expires after six months, after which we ask again.
b) Advertising and measurement (off unless you switch it on). Google AdSense sets cookies and reads device identifiers to serve, cap, measure and personalise advertising. The AdSense script is not loaded at all until you give permission — it is injected only after you opt in, so no advertising cookie can be set beforehand. We also apply Google Consent Mode v2, which communicates your choice to Google and keeps ad data redacted while consent is absent.
Google acts as an independent controller for the data it collects through AdSense. Its handling is governed by the How Google uses information from sites that use its services notice, and you can review and adjust Google’s own controls at My Ad Center. Third parties do not place any other tracking, analytics or social media technologies on this site.
c) Aggregate page-view counting (no cookie, no device storage). We count how many times pages on this site are viewed, and which country each view came from, so we can describe our audience to prospective advertisers and partners. This counting sets no cookie, stores nothing on your device, and records no IP address, device identifier or any other identifier: a view adds one to a date and to a two-letter country code, and nothing links one view to another or to you. Because there is no storage on your device, ePrivacy Art. 5(3) consent is not engaged, and because the stored figures are counts rather than personal data, the counter runs whether or not you accept advertising cookies. The totals are published at /api/stats.
Consent — Art. 6(1)(a), read with ePrivacy Art. 5(3), for advertising and measurement cookies and for any personalisation of ads. Consent is freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous, is never inferred from silence or from continued browsing, and refusing is exactly as easy as agreeing.
Legitimate interests — Art. 6(1)(f) for keeping the platform secure and preventing abuse, balanced against your rights and limited to technical data.
Consent for information you choose to send us by email, used only to answer you.
Advertising is off until you turn it on. You can change or withdraw your decision at any moment through Cookie settings, which is linked in the footer of every page. Withdrawal takes effect immediately: we signal the denial to Google and reload the page so that anything already initialised is discarded. Withdrawing is no harder than consenting, as GDPR Art. 7(3) requires, and we do not use cookie walls — refusing costs you no functionality.
You have the right to access your data, to rectification, to erasure, to restriction of processing, to data portability, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to withdraw consent at any time. Because we hold no account or profile about you, most requests are satisfied by clearing your browser storage and adjusting your choice above. Where we do hold data, we respond within one month. Exercising these rights is free and will never result in a reduced service.
Allowing advertising cookies may constitute a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising under the CPRA and similar state laws. You therefore have the right to opt out of that sharing, to know what is collected, to request deletion or correction, to appeal a refused request, and not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
To opt out, use Your Privacy Choices — Do Not Sell or Share in the footer. We also honour the Global Privacy Control browser signal as a valid opt-out: if your browser sends GPC, advertising stays switched off automatically and we record that without prompting you. Authorised agents may submit requests on your behalf by emailing the address in section 1 with evidence of authority. We do not sell or share personal information of anyone we know to be under 16, and we do not process sensitive personal information for inferring characteristics.
If you allow advertising, Google may process your data in the United States and other countries. Google relies on the EU-US and UK extensions of the Data Privacy Framework and on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, supplemented by its own technical safeguards, as the transfer mechanism. Declining advertising means no such transfer takes place through this site.
Your consent record is kept locally on your device for six months and then expires. Security and hosting logs are retained only as long as needed to protect the service. Any data Google collects under your consent is retained according to Google’s own published retention periods, which we do not control.
ApexCamps is intended for adult athletes and camp operators. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16, and we do not direct advertising to them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
If we add a purpose or a new third party, we will update this page and, where the law requires consent, ask you again rather than rely on your earlier answer. Our stored consent record is versioned so that such a change automatically re-opens the question.
To exercise any right, or to ask how your data is handled, email our compliance contact at debrinkverbinding@gmail.com.
